The Star employs around 40 people; a combination of full-timers, part-timers, very part-timers and some who just work in university holidays. Jobs range from chefs, front of house and reception to house keeping and maintenance staff.

We have a good proportion of staff who have worked with us for a long time, but also those looking for temporary work, so vacancies do arise quite often. In any case, we are always looking to strengthen our team with experienced industry professionals, so are happy to receive CVs from those interested in working with us – please just make yourself aware of our rural location and the lack of any public transport first!
