Other Courses running throughout the year

Chef for the Day Course
Group Size - 1 to 2 people. Course Fee: £180 per person

A great opportunity to work alongside Andrew's team in the new kitchen. Report for duty at 9.15 am for a briefing on the day’s menu, before donning your Star Inn apron and getting down to work…

You will see how the various sections work on preparing the ingredients for lunch and, depending upon your main areas
of interest, learn how the various meats and fish are prepared ahead of service and gain an insight on judging the quality of
the ingredients. Take a short break ahead of service, and work
on producing the dishes to the exacting standards of a
Michelin-starred restaurant.

After a working lunch, take a tour of the Star Inn kitchen gardens, then return to work on the preparation of starters or desserts, or an area of particular interest to you until around 4 pm. This course is open to only to one or two people per session and will be tailored to the individual - everything you ever wanted to know about cooking, but never dared to ask!

Group Courses
Group Size - 5 to 8 people. Course Fee: from £900

Group courses can be designed to your requirements, either demonstration-based or hands-on experience, full day, or half day followed by dinner. This would suit a group of 5 to 8 friends or work colleagues looking to share a day with a difference, and could
also be residential.
