The ultimate in Pub dining!

At the Star Inn, we’re not ones to rest on our laurels. We have achieved many ‘firsts’, such as Egon Ronay’s first gastropub and the first to win three Catey awards, the ‘Oscars’ of the catering trade and first pub to achieve a 6/10 rating in the Good Pub Guide 2009. Now it’s time to add to the list - as one, if not, the first Chef’s Table in a pub!

The Chef’s Table can be booked by parties of 8 selecting either a full ‘Tasting Menu’. The Table, located to one side of the main kitchen, with a great view of the ‘action’ at the Pass and the atmosphere of the busy state-of-the-art kitchen.

You will start your visit to the Chef’s Table with a glass of champagne, before stepping into a world of gastronomy Yorkshire-style! The Star Inn chefs will provide you with a sumptuous degustation feast of local, seasonal produce with a gourmet eight course lunch/dinner for £800. A recommended wine package is also available to complement the menu at £50 per person. Weather permitting, you may chose to take your canapés outside on our Terrace and, perhaps, take a stroll around the Star’s kitchen garden, where you’ll probably see some of the produce
growing that you’ll be eating later!

A sample ‘Classics’ menu can be downloaded, but the actual
menu will only be finalised on the day, taking into account the likes and dislikes of the party, any dietary requirements and the best of seasonal produce available. Contact Reservations on 01439 770397 for availability.
