Pies and pastries are always a favourite in any quality butchers, at Perns several varieties available, and these compliment the many salads, sweets and quiches which are also handmade either at
The Star Inn kitchens or the kitchen behind the counter.

With a wide range of British and Irish cheeses, chutneys and relishes, flavoured fresh bread daily there is something for everyone’s palate.

We also have a number of chilled or frozen ready meals, soups
and desserts available or, if you fancy something different, just ask
- we can fill your own pots or casseroles with Star Inn dishes and nobody needs to know!

The Grocery

We stock fresh fruit and vegetables in season from local suppliers as well as more unusual produce from Mount St. John Estate near Felixkirk, which also supplies The Star Inn restaurant.

Longley Farm dairy products enhanced by products from
Bluebell Creamery near Crayke in the Howardian Hills, provide
the essentials along with a large amount of tinned and packaged items of old favourites and new lines.
