Cross House Lodge…

This unique thirteen-bedroomed accommodation is literally across the road from the Star Inn Restaurant. All thirteen rooms are highly individual, many with quirky features, such as Room 1's bath at the end of the bed, or Room 4's rope-slung bed, whilst Room 5 has its own snooker table and Room 8 its own piano - take a look and choose your favourite! For canine guests, accommodation can be offered in Rooms 6, 7 and 8. Our purpose-built Barn block of 4 rooms opened for bookings in September 2020.

Breakfast is taken in the Wheelhouse at Cross House Lodge at the huge table under the beautiful beamed ceiling with the option of al fresco breakfasting on the Terrace in good weather. We would not normally accept a room reservation without an accompanying restaurant reservation.

Barn Rooms

Our new Barn accommodation of a quartet of rooms was completed in September 2020. It comprises 2 first floor double rooms with views over Cross House Lodge lawns and 2 ground floor rooms. Of the ground floor rooms, Barn Two is our family-friendly room with bunk beds suitable for young children and Barn One is our flexible room, available as a double, twin or even a triple!
